The pressure vessel consists of components shown in drawing except for the membrane elements and inter connectors.

Permionics offers corrosion resistant FRP cartridge filter housings for final polishing filtration.

In most RO plants, the feed is acidified before the cartridge filter. SS or MSRL filters are required to prevent corrosion. Invariably when HCl is used, corrosion sets in even in stainless steel. But in the case of FRP, there is no chance of corrosion.

20 years of experience in using FRP in cartridge filters has enabled us to perfect the design for ease in operation and minimal space consumption per unit cartridge.

There are two standard sizes available:

1. 400 mm dia to house maximum 7 nos. 70 mm dia X 20 inch length.
2. 600 mm dia to house maximum 19 nos. 70 mm dia X 20 inch length.
3. 600 mm dia to house maximum 31 nos. 70 mm dia X 40 inch length.

• Flanged / threaded inlet and outlet connections are available with or without valves.
• Vertical and cylindrical vessel with dished top and bottom. 4 supporting FRP legs with facility for bolting to a skid.
• PVC cartridge holding assembly- assembly can be made to suit different types of cartridges.
• FRP end plates Nitrile ‘O’ Rings
• Cartridges can be provided if required.
• Complete skid mounted cartridge filters also can be supplied along with feed pump and cartridges.

Permionics offers custom designed

Decarbonator (Degassifier) for stripping carbon dioxide from RO permeate.

We have supplied the largest FRP Decarbonator with the tank having a capacity of handling 180 cumtrs/hr of RO permeate and inlet CO2 of 200 ppm being brought down to < 10 ppm.

The supply can include complete system namely:

1. FRP / HDPE tank.
2. FRP tower.
3. FRP top and bottom column.
4. Demister.
5. Raschig rings.
6. Blower on a skid.
7. Interconnecting piping of FRP / CPVC.

We can also design decarbonators for given flow rates and free carbon dioxide levels in the feed water.
